In the wake of yesterday’s tragic incident at Bondi, our hearts go out to all those affected. This senseless act of violence has left a community in shock, and no words can fully capture the pain that comes with such a tragedy.
To the families, friends, and loved ones of those impacted, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
To our friends and colleagues at Sydney Chevra Kadisha, you have unwaivering loyalty from everyone here at Statewide. We stand strongly beside you and are here to support you as you face unimaginable challenges in the coming days and weeks.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the brave men and women of our emergency services. From first responders to law enforcement, you put your own safety on the line every day to protect and serve our community. During this incredibly difficult time, your professionalism , courage, and compassion have been nothing short of inspiring. The efforts of paramedics, police officers, and all other emergency personnel involved have made a critical difference, and we all owe them a debt of gratitude for their tireless work.
To all the responders who worked around the clock, and to those who will continue working with the community for healing and support long after today - we thank you whole heartedly.
We also take this time to ask those who may come into contact with our teams, to please not raise this subject nor ask our team any questions. Please understand these situations are very confronting for our team. It is extremely important that all families and those with lives lost are given the utmost respect and dignity, with absolute confidentiality upheld.
It is moments like these that remind us of the importance of compassion, unity, and standing together as a community. We must continue to work towards peace and understanding, and support one another in times of hardships. Let us all come together in solidarity.
