Where have I been? Where have you all been!!! I'm finally writing again (well giving it a red hot crack!)

I'd love your support - if you don't have Substack (where have you been / think I asked that?) / it's the creative hub of writers, readers & people who love being different, talking about it & writing about the people who put them in therapy (just kidding).

Why should you subscribe to my Substack?

o I’m Australian / we are wonderful, interesting, humans

o I’m rare / a unique being (too free & wild to tame)

o I say uncomfortable stuff, others wouldn’t say

o Because too many ex-partners & ex friends’ partners, told me often / if I just shut up more, I’d be more attractive. I don’t need to be attractive.

o I am addicted to sending messages to myself, in the form of ideas, thoughts, curiosities, absurdities, things that get under my skin & beg me to tell their story / I will sharing many an untold story

o I have a love affair with words / challenging my brain to learn new info from interesting, beautiful souls / with hilarious humour / a sh** load of authenticity & courage.

o I try to be a good human / I am a good human (not a perfect human, just a good one)

o I am in my ‘let them’ era (thanks to Mel Robbins & genetic stubbornness). Let them call me a gypsy. In fact, I will embrace it / I actually ‘don’t give a rats ar**” (Australian for I really don’t care) about what others think about my nomadic lifestyle. The world is too beautiful & life too short. Join me on the adventure.

o I’ve got so many bags of material; I’d should be paying for excess luggage. A ton of lived experience, sh*tty relationships, heartbreak, parenting experiences galore. Enough to make movies. I don’t make movies, I like writing.

o I’m not a rock or made of concrete, I do enjoy validation. I love even more human connection with real people, honest stories, heartfelt words. Validation is good for the soul, new friends even better & I am so in love with the solidarity of this creative community.

Oh how I miss travelling the Wimmera sharing yoga & mindfulness with amazing human beings.

13th November - World Kindness Day

Remember yoga is more than just the asana's (movements/postures). Ashtanga yoga has 8 limbs, including the Yamas & Ahimsa, the moral imperatives; non-harming of other living beings.

Thank you for visiting.

Change starts with us!

Feel free to copy or share to your page as a way of supporting!!

I’ve well & truly exceeded my goal & on the way to tripling the km’s by end of the month. Up & early in the Wimmera, from the east coast of Lutruwita (Tassie) to outback western Vic, i choose walking whenever I can - not too late to support the most respected charity & not for profit in Australia to do it’s vital work in saving lives & bringing services to rural Australia as one of the most rural & remote dedicated services, only in rural communities.

Even in the Wimmera you’ll go by RFDS ambulance as it now has the Ambulance service - great catch up with local paramedics on my walk yesterday.

$10 or $5 - everything makes a difference.

Rural communities are far more at risk across every area if health including mental health.

Help us keep the doctors, nurses, dental, psychs & mental health teams flying & driving into rural & isolated communities.

To say this year has been a challenge, would be understating the heartbreak & challenges we’ve faced. Nothing brings more calm than welcoming the morning sun, greeting the day, gratitude, peace begins on the inside.

Bargara thank you for keeping my soul moving forward & Mother Nature, always blessed by your gifts.
