There’s a real uptick in depression and anxiety amongst young adults, and so much time spent on devices is compounding the issue. These are some of the symptoms of depression, and if you’re seeing them, it’s important to address them:
• Withdrawing
• ‘spacing out’
• less hygienic
• not really interested in school, work, sport or friends
• sad
• feeling a sense of hopelessness
• irritable
• angry
• more sensitive than usua
• possibly blaming themselves over and over
There are so many ways to address them, and I’d like to suggest one of those ways.
Art, music, movement & animal therapy can help address the issues without the unbearable pain of retelling their story with words.
In fact, some of them don’t even have the words just yet.
For over 18 years we’ve seen so many people become happier and let go of their pain
through creative therapy.
We work with NDIS, and on a sliding scale.
You’re not alone. We’re here for you.
