Do you need to take a multivitamin? 🌟 Here are 8 common reasons why you might benefit from taking a multivitamin!
1. You don’t eat enough fruit and vegetables in your daily diet. Australian dietary guidelines recommend 5-6 x 75g servings of vegetables 🥦 and 2 x 150g pieces of fruit 🍎 daily for adults.
2. You have digestive issues, such as inflammatory bowel disease or food intolerances, which may decrease the absorption of nutrients.
3. You drink a lot of tea or coffee (this can affect absorption of nutrients)
4. You have prolonged stress (this can use vitamins at a higher rate)
5. You microwave your food (this can deplete some nutrients)
6. You smoke or drink alcohol on a regular basis.
7. You are either pregnant or trying for a baby.
8. You are only able to eat a restricted diet because of weight loss efforts or other reasons like post-surgery, etc.

Eat the rainbow 🌈 with this delightful salad! You can also enhance it into a complete meal by adding grilled fish, chicken or your preferred protein.

🥗Eat-The-Rainbow Chopped Salad with Basil & Mozzarella
Prep time: 30 minutes
Serves: 8

🥗Ingredients:
- ¼ cup white balsamic vinegar
- ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
- 2 large carrots, diced
- 1 large yellow capsicum, diced
- 2 cups chopped kale (or baby spinach)
- 1 ¼ cups chopped red cabbage
- 1 cup quartered grape tomatoes
- 1 cup mozzarella pearls (or chopped mozzarella)
- ½ cup thinly sliced fresh basil
- 2 spring onions, sliced

🥗Directions
1. Whisk vinegar, oil, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
2. Add carrots, capsicum, kale (or baby spinach), cabbage,
tomatoes, mozzarella, basil and spring onions. Toss to coat.
