I had the opportunity to play a round of golf with my brother and his friends over the weekend. Was a very hot 6hr long round, but thanks to the good vibes and occasional kangaroo, it was a fantastic day.

*** Functional exercises for posture ***
Over the past few weeks I have been working a lot on my posture in my golf swing.
Guido today was running me through some exercises including this one to help with functional strength of my mid-lower back muscles.

Over the past few weeks I have been trying to work on straightening out my driver a bit with some helpful lessons from . I always try to practice first on the driving range and then when I am comfortable translate it to the course.

Welcome to the Golfing Osteo, apart of MPR Health.

Our head osteopath and director Dr. Kristopher Sanford is an avid golf fan and his passion for all things golf has made its way into his clinical life.

TheGolfingOsteo was started by Kristopher to allow him to concentrate on treating patients who have injuries or just day-to-day tightness that is getting in the way of them enjoying their golf and getting out and leading a healthy life. Kristopher uses objective measures and specific golf focused treatment plans to make sure patients achieve their golfing goals.

Dr. Sanford has always stressed the importance of enjoyable sustainable exercise as a main pillar in combating the mechanical and physiological health strains of our modern lives. Working with golfers enables him to make a difference to many people whilst giving them the knowledge and skill-set to get off the couch and back onto the golf course.
