Unlike crayons, oil pastels are buttery, rich, and responsive. For kids, they provide instant gratification—a tiny bit of pressure creates a bold explosion of color!
They are the perfect bridge between drawing and painting, allowing children to blend with their fingers and truly "feel" the art they are creating.
Lately, our students have been putting these tools to the test!
In our recent sessions, the children didn't just draw "toys"; they captured dimension. By layering creamy ochres and deep shadows, those 3D drawings started to pop off the page!
