We take this opportunity to thank our industry colleagues who graciously welcomed Josh into their funeral home this Monday and Tuesday, thereby enabling us to utilise their facilities to pay our last respects to a dearly departed man.

Tracey and the team at Integrity Funerals on the Gold Coast were so very accommodating. To have a business relationship like this is so invaluable. We can’t thank you enough for all your help.

Every now and then things happen where we get to be different. Different from the usual “norm” for a funeral. Today’s special difference was the deceased’s great grandson.

From the moment we sat with Ian’s family it was evident that little Jakiah was thoroughly interested in what we do and so without hesitation Josh asked Jakiah if he’d like to be an apprentice for the day and to help send his “big poppy” off to heaven.

So in complete uniform with our tie, cane and even the name badge too we think Jakiah did an absolutely outstanding job today!

P.S. we will be watching to see if he decides to send through an invoice for his work 🤭😉
