🌸 Welcome Dr Alexandra (Ally) Pietsch to Nurture Gynaecology! 🌸

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr Ally to our team!

Dr Ally is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners with additional qualifications in reproductive and sexual health. Since 2020, she has worked as a sub-specialised GP in women’s health, with expertise spanning paediatric and adolescent gynaecology through to menopause care.

She’s highly experienced in IUD and Implanon procedures and is also a passionate educator—training other doctors in women’s health with her warm, open approach.

Dr Ally takes great care in supporting patients through what can be a vulnerable part of their health journey, and we know our patients will feel truly heard and cared for in her consults.

This weekend, the 27th Australasian Menopause Society (AMS) Congress brought together clinicians, researchers, and health professionals in Perth to share the latest insights into the care of women through midlife and beyond.

The Congress focused on: 🔹 Evidence-based approaches to managing menopause
🔹 Hormone therapy and non-hormonal options
🔹 Bone health, cardiovascular risk, and cognitive wellbeing
🔹 Holistic and lifestyle-based strategies for long-term health

Dr Brooke O'Brien attended on behalf of , engaging with the latest research and clinical updates to ensure our care remains at the forefront of women’s health.

📣 We’ve moved — and we’ve been BUSY! 🏡💜
It’s been nearly 2 months since Nurture Gynaecology settled into our much larger new home at 120 Clifford Street, Stafford Heights. Between unpacking, settling in, and caring for our wonderful patients, we’ve barely had time to post!
We’re absolutely loving the new space and the fresh energy it’s brought to our practice.

Tomorrow!!
Dr Brooke O’Brien and Caroline have been holding the fort today and notifying patients that we will be back as normal tomorrow. Apologies for any missed calls throughout today. Dr Michelle Ledbury will have patients in clinic and Dr Brooke O’Brien will be operating as normal tomorrow.

Due to cyclone Alfred, our practice will be temporarily closed tomorrow. However, we remain available to assist you via phone for enquires during this time.
Any Telehealth appointments scheduled for tomorrow (Friday) will go ahead where possible.
