With the new week upon us have you considered scheduling in sometime on the mat?

All our classes offer a really nice holistic experience that includes breathwork, relaxation, Mantra Meditation and yogi treats to end 🙌 you'll leave feeling amazing.

LOUISE - Kallangur
Offers an easy Hatha yoga class, accommodating different needs and levels of practice. Depending on how you’re feeling on the day, there’s something for everyone to meet you where you’re at.

EMMA - Upper Kedron & Stafford
Likes to provide students with a balance of the different elements of asana practice. Assisting students to build confidence, listen to their bodies and bring fun and joy into their time on the mat.

Welcomes you to come and experience the ultimate weekend reset. A guided yoga journey with nature as our backdrop. A blend of gentle flow, grounding and strengthening poses, and mobility work. Expect variety and little sprinkles of care and connection through each class.

With 5 locations across the Brisbane North region, something you can plug into EVERY day of the week, with different experiences that meet you with where you are at to support you on your journey of well-being, conscious living, finding true happiness and uncovering your deeper why.

The Yoga Lifestyle has something for everyone 🤸‍♀️

Bringing nothing but good vibes, residents of the Brisbane North region we are your people for holistic wellness and we can't wait to welcome you to our classes and events.

The ONLY non-profit, mobile yoga and meditation studio that brings beautiful pop up classes and events into the community, guiding people through our yoga with a spiritual heart experiences.

Over the coming weeks we will be celebrating over a decade of servicing the Brisbane North Region, bringing community together and touching the lives of many 🫶

We will be showcasing our wonderful offerings, you'll meet the teachers who bring the care and experience into all our classes, learn more about the different classes available for you to plug into, meet some of the wonderful people coming to our classes and hear how these practices help them, hear highlights from the pioneer that got things started and the visionary that continues to shake things up with new adventures for our small heart-led team to continue to grow and reach more people with.

All inspired from our deep desire to share the greatest gift in our life and the tools and resources that have been at the heart of our transformation back to happiness and living a life of purpose.

So we have some BIG NEWS to share 📣

After a decade of servicing the Stafford community with blissful Kirtan evenings, yummy treats and community vibes it's time to say goodbye.

Tomorrow night is our last meditation evening there, we'd love to see you there!

It feels quite nostalgic really, we first moved into that hall when our daughter was born, we used to bring her in her bassinet which would sit beside us as we delivered the class.🤱

It holds a special place in our heart; so many sweet people we have met, so many hearts touched from this practice and our leaning ground in so many ways. 🫶

Thank you to everyone who up took these community offerings, we have loved voluntary our time to bring you these classes rain, hail or shine. ☔☀️

To all the different volunteers who have assisted in different ways, thank you, especially Emma who really enabled us to grow things more with her dedicated help week in and week out. Emma will be carrying the fort at Stafford moving forward with the continuation of our yoga Asana class at 6pm each Wednesday🧘‍♀️

🙌We are excited for the new beginnings and opportunities that lie ahead with our relocation to Albany Creek on Mondays at 6pm and $4 yoga Asana class thanks to MBCC at 4:30pm.

These timing works for our family and the giving load we do week in and week out so much better and we can't wait to reach out to this growing community and surrounding suburbs with our beautiful community offerings.

Developing your home practice

What to include in your home practice;
For me the best thing about developing a home practice is that you can tune into the body in that moment and include asanas that your body is craving.

You may have lots of energy or maybe you’re recovering from an illness and need a slow stretch with a long yoga nidra. What ever it may be you have the flexibility to meet your body where it is at.

But what if your just starting out on your yoga asana journey and your not completely sure what to add or you just prefer to take the thinking out of it and follow along. In that case there is a practice to suit everyone at https://asmy.tv/yoga-asana/ From a quick stretch to a grounding Hatha class to chair yoga, there is something for everyone.

Jump online and take a look, I would love to hear how you go or your favourite. It’s an amazing resource, you will also find guided meditation, Kirtan, recipes and heaps more.

Recipe time! Date Bark Bites 😋

GF/Vegan option - use a GF granola and Vegan White Chocolate 🥰

Makes around 20-40 pieces, depending on treat size!

Sweet, crunchy and delicious, these date bark bites really hit the spot if you’re feeling like a little treat, and take 10 minutes to put together 🙂 I love to serve these up post yoga asana 💙

You could also make a batch and store them in the freezer or share with your friends!

Here’s how you make them:

🌴Ingredients:

✨500gm pitted medjool dates
✨500gm crunchy peanut butter or any nut butter you prefer
✨ 1 cup toasted granola of your choice
✨170gm block white chocolate
✨Pinch sea salt

Method:

Melt White chocolate over a double boiler (bowl on top of a pot with water simmering).

Place your pitted dates close together but with a little room in between onto some baking paper. Place another sheet of paper on top and either roll with a rolling pin or press down until a nice layer is created for your base.

Drizzle ¼ of the melted chocolate over the dates. Add ½ of the granola sprinkled evenly, then the nut butter, spread the nut butter. Sprinkle the other half of your granola and drizzle evenly the remainder of the white chocolate. Set in the freezer for around 30 minutes before cutting into your desired sized peices.

❤️Optional you can add in a few crushed freeze dried strawberries and carob pieces for a bit of extra fun 🥳

Sub with vegan white chocolate if dairy free and opt for gluten free granola if you need.

Namaste & Welcome to Everton Park Yoga.

We feel very happy your journey has led you to discover our classes and offering; giving you access to a variety of ways to improve your health and wellness in the convenient locations of Suburbia Brisbane.

Amit and Chantelle have been leading a Yoga Lifestyle for over 8 years and sharing the gift of yoga in different community settings; from corporate seminars and classes, workshops, retreats, Universities and studio classes. You will find this dynamic duo laid back and very passionate about all things yoga, especially Kirtan meditation and helping people to establish a home practice in order to really experience the amazing benefits of this timeless wisdom in their daily life.

Classes at Everton Park yoga are suitable for beginners to intermediate; with different variations and alignment guidance given. Each class takes you on a journey starting with connection to breath, moving into yoga postures (Asanas) and ending with relaxation and meditation. You will leave feeling energized, yet grounded with an sense of inner peace and clarity of mind.
