We’re spending a couple of days training in Mental Health First Aid to learn the signs and symptoms and ways we can help our community with mental health.

Wow!! Ten years of Family Matters Counselling and Therapy!!
We started working out of the boot of Darryl’s car and now we have two beautiful workspaces and the best team of 6 amazing staff (with another soon to start!).
Thank you to all of our clients who have trusted us and allowed us to care for you and families over the last decade. We love our jobs and are truly happy and excited to come to work every day.
We have exciting plans coming soon - Creative Lego workshops during the next school holidays, Wine & Watercolour afternoons and murals galore!
We are taking a few days off to celebrate and the office will reopen on Wednesday 6th of August.

It’s finally official!!! The Creativity Matters Studio is on the move! We are moving just across the hallway above KHub to a new huuuuuuuuge studio space. We will be busy painting and building and making this new studio bright and colourful over the next week. We’ll be reopening on June 10th. Feel free to pop in for a visit. !

We love a good excel spreadsheet sheet at Family Matters! Especially when it’s printed, taped together, colour coded and so big we needed to spread it out on the studio table.

The 3D printer had been working overtime on some Minecraft figurines for our play therapy clients this week .

We are still planning to be open and operating as usual Thursday and Friday.  Will be in touch with anyone who’s booked in, in case that situation changes. In the meantime, try and stay dry and don’t panic buy too much  toilet paper!
