We are all set-up for the PBC Expo in Brisbane. We will have 8 qualified counsellors/educators on the stand to answer your questions. Big thanks to all of our wonderful volunteers, who are coming along on the weekend.

Are you pregnant OR have recently given birth? Research shows that breastfeeding can lower a mother’s risk of breast cancer, but why this happens is unknown.

Researchers at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre are analysing breast milk to understand this reduced risk.

To contribute to this important research, you will be asked to donate a maximum of 10 samples of milk over a 6-24 month time period.

Thank you so much to all who purchased bulbs in our Australian Breastfeeding Association Tenterfield-Granite Belt Group fundraiser! We made $367.60 which will go towards the cost of sending our breastfeeding counsellor, our breastfeeding educator, and breastfeeding counselling trainee, to our Branch Conference in August, so that we can be kept up to date with the latest breastfeeding research for working alongside Mums in our various roles. We appreciate the support of each person who bought some bulbs, and we hope they flower beautifully for you for many years to come!
