SUNSET YOGA @ Best Wines 🌅🧘🍷

I‍'m super excited to be teaming up with to offer a series of Sunset Yoga Sessions at beautiful Best's Winery in Great Western starting at 6pm on:

These sessions coincide with Best's Friday night Stables cellar door being open until 8pm, offering yummy food, great company and of course Best's vino to enjoy!

Our Sunset Yoga sessions include:
🧘🏻‍♀️ An all levels yoga practice led by me. BYO mat if you have one but don't worry if you don't - I'll have spares available.

This Women’s Health Week, here are a few simple things that can make a huge difference to how you feel about yourself:

💧 Hydrate to help your body and mind work better
😴 Rest that helps your body and mind repair
🧘🏻‍♀️ Movement that feels wonderful, not punishing
🌬 Breathing that helps calm your busy mind

These aren't hard things to do and they don't have to take up a huge amount of time. They are simple steps you can start using to prioritise your own health and wellbeing.

Examples of what burnout can really look like that you might be missing:

⇢ You can’t remember the last time you felt excited about anything.

⇢ You cancel plans because you’re exhausted but you can’t actually rest when you’re home.

⇢ You forget simple things like names, appointments, words mid-sentence.

⇢ You can't remember the last time you woke up feeling actually rested {or anything remotely close to 'rested'!}.

⇢ You feel numb, detached, unmotivated.

Your mind and body are calling for deep rest. Remember, you weren't meant to carry this much.

I often find Reiki hard to describe {without it sounding too woo!} so I'm sharing these beautiful words from one of my regular reiki clients 💕

Because the truth is, Reiki is something that has to be experienced to know what it's really like.

Every session is different and everyone's experience will be different but most commonly, people feel the way that Fiona has mentioned in her testimonial, as well as:

⁘ Deeply Relaxed: Like they've just had the best nap or massage, even if they didn’t fall asleep
⁘ Lighter/Clearer: Some describe feeling like a weight has been lifted off their shoulders or chest. Brain fog and overthinking often settle down and they feel more focused with less mental clutter.
⁘ Grounded: Like they’re back in their body after being in their head all day/week/year!
⁘ Calm, even if they came in feeling anxious or overwhelmed.
⁘ Emotional release. Sometimes people cry, sigh, or laugh as things shift. All are very welcome in my space.
⁘ Balanced/Centred like they’ve returned home to themselves
⁘ More open and connected to their own feelings, to others or to something bigger than themselves.

The Reiki experience doesn't end at the conclusion of your session. Some people feel shifts immediately while others notice changes over the next few days.

It is common for people to feel drained/a little fatigued after a session so I always recommend leaving space for rest and to most importantly re-hydrate. Once the reiki works it's way through your energetic system, you feel the full benefits which could be immediately, later the same day, or within a couple of days after your session.

See, Reiki ... it's a little bit of magic that offers soo many benefits and like Fiona said, the sound healing is just more layers of goodness that I like to offer on top!

WINTER WARMER YOGA & SOUND HEALING ✨

If your nervous system is feeling the weight of winter {and let’s be honest, life}, I’ve got something really lovely coming up for you.

On Saturday 26 July, I’m teaming up with Danielle from to host a 90 minute Winter Warmer session that blends Restorative Yoga with sound healing.

This offering will be soft, slow and deeply nourishing. Open to all levels, you don’t need to have practiced yoga before to feel all the benefits of this one.

This session is part of and is being held at the Halls Gap Hall. At just $28, it’s one of the most accessible ways to give back to yourself this winter.

Who taught us that we HAVE to do it all?

Who decided that how 'busy' we are is an indication of our worth and our importance?

Living in a state of stress and fatigue and thinking we have to keep 'pushing through' has somehow become the norm.

But ignoring the symptoms of burnout won’t make it go away, in fact it will only get you there quicker.

And let’s be honest, this 'pushing through' mentality is exactly why so many women end up overwhelmed and running on empty.

Here’s what I’ve used that actually helps:
✅ Learn how to say no and set boundaries to protect your peace {let people think what they're going to think, who cares - YOU are more important}
✅ Energy healing to soothe your poor, frazzled nervous system
✅ Sound therapy that feels like it's melting your stress away
✅ Space to just breathe, take off all of the hats that you wear and have time to come back to you {because sometimes it's really easy to forget who that is}.

Reiki and sound healing aren't woo-woo fixes. They're real, body-based ways to feel like yourself again. And when you feel clearer and calmer, you can be so much more present in your life.

Life will always be busy, and I know you feel like you can’t slow down. The last thing you have time to do is rest but remember, rest is an important form of self-care and if you don't take the time to recharge your own battery, what good are you to anyone else?

I’m taking a break myself over the next two weeks (14-25 July) and although there will be no morning Flow classes during this time, my lovely friend Liss .liss_yoga will be taking care of you in our evening Slow Flow and Restore classes.

If you need a sign to give yourself a breather or say “yes” to someone helping you {instead of the other way around!}, this is it! Taking time off can be empowering, nourishing and super restorative – for me and for you. So start making yourself your biggest priority, give yourself permission to pause and I promise you, everything else in your life will flow easier.

Tomorrow marks one year since Grampians Physiotherapy & Pilates & Grampians Wellbeing joined forces and officially opened the Grampians Movement & Wellbeing Centre {aka The Hub!} 🎉

What a BIG year it has been! We started with a blank canvas and worked out butts off to make this space our own. A place that we hope you feel warmly welcomed. Happy International Yoga Day ✨ + Winter Solstice ❄️

This year’s IYD theme is Yoga for One Earth, One Health — a powerful reminder that we are all connected.

As war, division and uncertainty continue to cast shadows across the globe, today invites us to pause.

To remember our shared humanity.

To care deeply — for our bodies, our communities, and our one, precious planet.

Here in the Southern Hemisphere, the Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year. It’s a natural turning point — a call to rest, reflect, and reconnect to what matters most.

A chance to honour the darkness and gently invite back the light.

Yoga gives us the tools to do this, not just on the mat, but in how we live:
• Breathing deeply when our world feels tense
• Moving gently when our hearts feel heavy
• Choosing compassion, even when it’s hard

If you’re feeling the weight of the world right now, you’re not alone.

Let's move together this week - for our own health and the health of our earth 🧘🏻‍♀️🌏
