Today is World Hand Hygiene Day, and this year’s theme is “Action Saves Lives”.

Hand hygiene is something we all do, but it’s worth pausing to remember just how important it is - whether you’re at home, at work, or out in the community. In hospitals, it’s absolutely essential to how we care for both patients and staff, helping prevent infections and keeping everyone safe.

It’s a simple action, but it makes a big difference. So today is a good reminder to take a moment, check in with your handwashing habits - because every clean counts.

Here's a little refresher.
1. WET hands with running water
2. SOAP your hands and lather up
3. RUB all over your hands, between your fingers and thumbs for 20 seconds
4. RINSE hands under running water
5. DRY hands using paper towel

Camellia season in full bloom 🌸

The hedge out the front of the Hospital on Milan Terrace is absolutely bursting right now - a full stretch of soft pinks lining the footpath. It’s one of those simple, blink-and-you-miss-it moments that makes Stirling feel extra special this time of year. We love it!
