10/01/2026
It’s been one month today since I had a total knee replacement.
I’m so pleased with how well the recovery has gone. Even with the post-surgery pain, I can already feel that it was the best decision I made.
Today was my first day back in the gym. Just a tiny little session, seeing how the knee went on the bike - and despite a few little pinches, it went really well.
I feel like the past 8 years have been a series of restarts, and maybe that’s what life is…just restarting as we grow.
2025 was a foundational year for me, where I start really laying down solid ground from everything I’d experienced, studies and learnt from. I feel like it really set down firm roots for the years to come, with 2026 to be the beginning of the building years.
Navigating through obstacles, setbacks, restarts, emotional upheavals and all the threads that bring the tapestry of life together, is what creates a strong base on which to grow from.
It’s been a slow start to the year, and I’ve learnt to accept and appreciate that slowness (or ease as I prefer to call
It), for all that it allows me to take in and process.
Offering other women the same opportunity to learn about themselves and how they thrive best is something I’m really looking forward to in the coming months and years.
Here’s to a year of ease and peace - no matter what’s happening in the outside world 💕
