Fleurieu Plan Management is excited to partner with Encounter Youth this upcoming Schoolies Festival in sponsoring a sensory space for those with disabilities. This initiative is a first in Australia.

Fleurieu Plan Management is extremely passionate about inclusivity, and we understand that for some people, especially for those with disabilities, large scale events and festivals can often be amazingly fun, but also can bring with it a sense of being overwhelmed. We are encouraged by Encounter’s initiative of providing a quiet sensory space to allow these young people to still enjoy all the wonderful aspects that schoolies may bring, where they can deservedly celebrate their hard work and achievements, while also having a quite retreat where they can feel safe and supported in that space. A space where they can regulate and rejuvenate. We think of the person who may normally feel a little nervous about going to the festival and we hope that they may feel better about going by utilising this space.
