🌟 Introducing Jorja! 🌟

We are excited to welcome Jorja, Allied Health Assistant, to our team at DLS Allied Health

Jorja is in her final year of studying a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) and has previous experience working as a support worker with people of all ages. She’s passionate about advocating for her clients and their families, creating client-centred goals, and helping individuals find their voice and independence.

When she’s not working or studying, Jorja loves getting creative, playing and umpiring netball, going on walks, and spending time with friends and family. Fun fact: she has a Border Collie named Harvey, who has two different-coloured eyes! 🐾

Jorja’s journey into speech pathology began in Year 12, sparked by a family friend’s insight into the profession and her passion for helping people. She’s excited about the many paths speech pathology offers and the endless opportunities ahead.
For downtime, you’ll often find her binge-watching reality TV or enjoying classic Disney throwbacks.

We’re so lucky to have Jorja on our team! 💙🙌

We are seeking multiple Speech Pathologists to join our team in Bendigo!

Our team is doing an incredible job, but there are only so many hours per day, so we need your help to help more people.

You can find all the info on SEEK, but here are four important points:

- 10 days of CPD leave per year.
- 5 weeks of annual leave.
- Incredibly supportive team and structured supervision.
- Flexible work schedules such 8-day or 9-day fortnights.

Introducing Caitlyn!

We are excited to welcome Caitlyn, Allied Health Assistant, to our team at DLS Allied Health! 🎉

Caitlyn is currently completing her final year of her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honors). She is a passionate and driven member of our team, balancing her university studies while playing and coaching netball. Outside of work, she loves spending quality time with her friends and family.

Her hobbies include reading, listening to music, and staying active by participating in a variety of sports . Caitlyn has tried netball, football, golf, tennis, swimming, dance, lawn bowls, and basketball—she loves exploring new activities!

At home, Caitlyn has a chocolate groodle named Peppa, who is her furry companion and always by her side.

Caitlyn’s journey into the world of Occupational Therapy was inspired by a family member’s recovery after an accident. She witnessed the incredible support provided by health professionals, which motivated her to help others in a similar way. After exploring different roles in the health field, she eventually found her calling in OT 💡.

When it comes to comfort media, Caitlyn is all about books, though she also enjoys a good TV series that makes her laugh 📺.

We’re excited to have Caitlyn on the team and can’t wait for you to get to know her better! 🙌

Introducing Faith!

We are excited to welcome Faith to our Occupational Therapist Team at DLS Allied Health! 🎉

Faith is passionate about helping people achieve their meaningful goals, which motivated her to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy. She loves making a positive impact in people's lives, supporting them to reach their full potential. 🌱✨

Outside of work, Faith enjoys spending time with family and friends, and she loves getting creative with crafts, especially crochet. She also enjoys spending time with her one-year-old Groodle puppy, Arlo, and her two birds, who always brighten her day.

One of Faith’s favourite traditions is weekly dinner and movie nights with her sister - a tradition that brings them closer and makes for a relaxing time.

When she’s unwinding, you can catch Faith watching movies or listening to her favourite music to help her relax. 🎶

We are excited to welcome Rachel to our Occupational Therapist Team at DLS Allied Health!

Rachel has experience working in community and hospital-based roles with a variety of ages. She takes pride in fostering an environment of trust, respect, and understanding, enabling her participants to make positive strides towards their goals. 🌱💪

Rachel pursued Occupational Therapy as a career because of its diverse and dynamic nature, offering the opportunity to work across a wide range of settings and with people of all ages. She is drawn to the problem-solving aspect of the profession, where she can creatively approach challenges and find tailored solutions to help individuals. 🧩💡

Outside of work, Rachel continues with her creativity through her art. You will also find her keeping active with badminton and swimming. To wind down, Rachel enjoys listening to all kinds of music, playing with her two whippets or relaxing with family.

🎉 Introducing Chloe 🎉

We’re thrilled to introduce Chloe, who has joined our Speech Pathology Team at DLS Allied Health! 🗣️✨

Chloe is passionate about working with paediatric participants and their families to help them achieve their goals. She focuses on building communication skills (both expressive and receptive), literacy, and social skills, with a particular interest in paediatric swallowing. 📚

Her journey into Speech Pathology was inspired by her younger cousin, who has childhood apraxia of speech. After doing work experience at a speech pathology clinic in Year 10, Chloe found her calling, and she’s been pursuing it ever since. 💡❤️

Outside of work, you’ll find Chloe spending quality time with friends and family, or umpiring netball on the weekends. She’s played netball since Net-Set-Go and is excited to get back into it after a break to focus on her studies. She also loves baking sweet treats and enjoys water skiing 🏄‍♀️.

We are thrilled to welcome Emily onboard our Occupational Therapy Team at DLS Allied Health in Albury-Wodonga. 🙌

Emily has an interest in working with people of all ages, particularly in the areas of neurological rehabilitation. 🧠

Emily chose to become an Occupational Therapist because the qualities required for the role align perfectly with her personality. She’s driven by a desire to increase independence, help individuals build their capacity, and provide empathetic support.
Emily is passionate about assisting people in reaching their goals and making a positive difference in their lives. 🌱✨

Outside of work, Emily enjoys reading, creating art, and spending time outside—whether it’s hiking in natureor just enjoying the fresh air. She also loves travelling to new places and cherishing time spent with her family.
At home, Emily is kept busy by her two cats 🐱🐱—a Siberian with endless energy and a tortoiseshell with a sassy personality.

When it comes to unwinding, Emily loves to get lost in a good book, but she also enjoys watching TV shows or listening to her favourite music for a bit of comfort.
