✨Strathpine Aged Care proudly showcased an inspiring exhibition of our residents’ handmade artworks, featuring stunning paintings, photography, quilting, drawings, colouring pieces and beautifully crafted woodwork from our Men’s Shed.

A wonderful week of laughter, creativity, and shared moments 🌞

☀️ Garden Group in the courtyard at Strathpine Aged Care, where our green-thumbed residents enjoyed a relaxing sunny morning planting marigolds, snapdragons and other colourful blooms in our planter boxes. A much-loved hobby shared by all 🌿

✨Our regular Thursday Bus Trips are always a favourite among our residents! Today, Hollie and Ingrid from the lifestyle team took a group to Norths Leagues Club for a lovely lunch outing — thoroughly enjoyed by all 🌞

Our residents enjoyed another fun-filled week of Arts and Crafts, Cards, Scrabble, morning sunbakes after breakfast for a healthy dose of Vitamin D, Seated Exercise, and of course, the much-loved Bingo!

Strathpine Aged Care Thursday Bus Trip 🚐📚
Our residents enjoyed a lovely morning visit to the Strathpine Library, borrowing large print and talking books and having some fun with the interactive laser projector. Libraries truly are a treasure trove of imagination! ✨

The day continued with a scenic drive to beautiful Dayboro, topped off with a stop at McDonald’s for a classic soft serve ice cream on a sunny afternoon. ☀️🍦

As the winter chill set in, the Strathpine Aged Care community stayed warm with lively events, heartfelt moments, and shared experiences. From cultural festivities and creative showcases to cosy outings and acts of kindness, the season was full of connection and cheer.

Our residents enjoyed another fun-filled week with some activities such as a concert with Darryl, arts and crafts, indoor games, the much-loved word scrabble, and a Thursday bus trip to The Sands Social Sandgate for morning melodies, music, and a delicious lunch. Fun filled week 🌿
