Raffle tickets for the Easter Raffle will be on sale at front reception and in the Cafe until the 1st of April. $2 a ticket or 3 for $5.

You might notice we’re looking a little different 😊

We’ve recently refreshed our brand and updated our website to make it easier for residents and families to find information and stay connected with us.

Over the coming weeks, you’ll also start to see our new look appear on things like signage, uniforms and printed materials around the home.

While our look is evolving, one thing hasn’t changed — our commitment to providing genuine, high-quality care and creating a warm, welcoming place to call home.

The week that was- residents enjoying a friendly visitor and we celebrated residents and staff February birthdays.🎂

The last two weeks that were. Strathpine welcomed Tony the new Lifestyle Coordinator. We also enjoyed happy hour with Darrell, did craft on Waitangi Day, played bingo and the residents loved pet therapy.

It's not every day you can spend time listening to the exceptional sound of a harp 🪉 being played so beautifully in your home. At Strathpine it's just one of the wonderful activities we get to enjoy on a regular basis.

🎄 With the start of December, we kicked off the Christmas season at Strathpine Aged Care by putting up our Christmas trees and decorations, getting everyone into the festive spirit. Our residents enjoyed another fun-filled week including activities such as Sensory Play, Pet Therapy, Garden Group, and today’s highlight — our Resident Christmas Lunch.

The Christmas Lunch was a wonderful celebration filled with entertainment by Jayde, a crowd favourite, along with a raffle draw, lucky door prizes and a delicious Christmas buffet lunch with all the bells and trimmings.

🧑‍🎄 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this special day possible for our residents. Your hard work and support are truly appreciated.

✨ The week that was at Strathpine Aged Care, with our residents enjoying another fun-filled week of Garden Group, Sensory Play, Balloon Tennis, Word Scrabble, Craft Corner, Ice Cream Trolley, Bus Trip to Social Sands Sandgate for lunch, Seated Exercise, Walking Group, a visit from the Old Brass Band, New Menu Tasting, a Concert with Darrel — all part of our lifestyle program.

Much fun and connection had by all 🌸

✨ The week that was at Strathpine Aged Care!
Our residents enjoyed another fun-fill week taking part in a wonderful variety of activities, including Craft Group, Sensory Play and Balloon Tennis in our MSU, Cards, Word Scrabble, Pet Therapy with Rosie, The Glenda Shop (our in-house clothing store), Seated Exercise, Playing an instrument - Music appreciation, Walking Group, Napkin Folding, and of course the much-loved Bingo — all part of our lifestyle program.

✨ The week that was at Strathpine Aged Care
Our residents enjoyed another fun-filled week celebrating birthdays and participating in Arts and Craft, Sensory Cooking, Garden Group, Music Therapy with Music Grace, and a Scenic Bus Trip to Sandgate. We also had a wonderful collaboration with Burpengary Manor Aged Care, where some of our gentlemen joined their Men’s Shed activity program followed by afternoon tea. Of course, the much-loved Bingo from our lifestyle program rounded out the week.
