The week that was at Strathpine Aged Care 🌞
Our residents shared plenty of laughter and friendship while enjoying a range of activities. From craft and painting to folding napkins, welcoming our new residents with a beautiful morning tea, and getting creative with scrapbooking – there was fun all around. Truly, the place to be !!

“An afternoon well spent with friends at Strathpine! 🥞💛 Today we flipped, filled, and (let’s be honest) devoured some seriously yummy Czech Palacinky pancakes. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 A big thank you to our lovely resident Milly and her son Dan for sharing a special part of their culture with us. 💕 Lots of laughs, a sprinkle of teamwork, and plenty of sweet treats to go around – that’s what life at Strathpine is all about! 🎉😋 ”

Strathpine Aged Care Hosts Morning Tea with Aspley Aged Care

Strathpine Aged Care was pleased to welcome residents from Aspley Aged Care for a delightful bus outing and morning tea in our café.

Our residents enjoyed the opportunity to connect and socialise, while sharing a selection of fresh seasonal fruit, sweet treats, and tea or coffee.

It was a wonderful morning of friendship, conversation, and community, and we look forward to hosting more gatherings in the future.

On Friday we shared a lovely morning tea to warmly welcome Trudy to our Strathpine family and give a heartfelt farewell to Manpreet. The room was filled with laughter, stories, and gratitude as we celebrated Manpreet’s incredible dedication, kindness, and the joy she’s brought to us all. It was a truly special moment to honour her contributions and send her off with love, warm wishes, and happy memories for the journey ahead.

Strathpine Aged Care recently celebrated EKKA Day in our courtyard with staff, residents, and their families. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day, spending time with the adorable Petting Zoo animals, indulging in fresh warm popcorn, classic Dagwood Dogs, and delicious strawberry ice cream, and joining in on the fun games.

A big thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make the day so special. Special thanks to our Facility Manager, Karen Conroy, for making it all possible, our wonderful Lifestyle Team, and Head Chef Wayne Ryan for serving up those nostalgic Dagwood Dogs and the sweetest strawberry ice cream. Yum! 😋
