Yesterday, we celebrated all of our fantastic staff members.
From Care staff to Registered Nurses, Kitchen staff to Cleaners, and Administration to Maintenance — we want to say an extra big thank you for all the dedicated hard work you do year-round 💙

A huge shout-out to Juanita Muller for organising such a fun and thoughtful event — from food and games to prizes and pack-up, you made it all happen! 🎳🎫

And a huge thanks to Wendy and Eamonn at Stroud Milk Bar for generously donating vouchers and lolly jars as prizes for our amazing team 🍬🎁

Dear Family and Community Members,

Exciting things are happening at the lodge!

There will be renovations to our front entry area starting shortly. Due to this, there will be a temporary entrance through the Solarium - our sign in system remains the same.

While the renovations may be a bit disruptive, we still encourage visitors!!

Happy 35th Birthday Stroud Community Lodge
On the 17th of February 1990 the Stroud Community Lodge was officially opened. Today we had the privilege of having the man responsible for it all Mr. John Bowen his wife Doreen along with some of our long-standing volunteers Mick & Marie Collins, Dianne Foster and Aileen McBride to help us celebrate with a special morning tea at our Music Morning. It was John's vision, hard work and dedication along with the Lions Club that made it all possible and to see it through. From all of us here at the Lodge past and present we say thank you John and Happy 35th Birthday.

On Thursday the Lodge Residents, Families and Friends all came together for our Christmas Lunch. Thank you to the Families and Friends for joining us to make the day so special for your loved ones.
We would also like to thank Mick and Tash from Stroud Butchery for providing the catering, you have out done yourselves the food was amazing. We would also like to thank Jumpin Jukebox for our entertainment, you were amazing and so much fun.
Our volunteers Sue and Anne for helping in the kitchen and serving, we cannot thank you enough for your time.
A very special thankyou to Dawn for helping with setting up AND packing and cleaning up, you are appreciated beyond words.
To Ashleigh and Milla thank you girls, budding little event coordinators in the making.
To the Lodge staff thank you for making the event so enjoyable for our residents. Last but certainly not least OUR Santa, you are a legend, and a rock star thank you for another year of fun.

Stroud Community Care would like to introduce our new Board Members for 2025.
But before that, Stroud Community Care would like to thank the following members who are no longer on the Board - Robert Frost, Maxine Ince, Phil Ince and Mavis Godber - for all of their support, dedication and compassion they have given the company over many years. We wish them well in the future.

Our new Board Members are:
Chairman - Karen Hutchinson
A long-time community member who is compassionate about our vulnerable community which we are excited about to bring a new vision to the company.
Secretary - Anthony Pearson
Our local school principal. Anthony brings the value of compliance and structure.
Directors - Margaret Francis
A local who has a vast knowledge about our local farming industry and business finance.
Directors - Wendy Scott
A Registered Nurse who brings clinical governance and compliance knowledge. Wendy is compassionate about providing quality care to vulnerable people.
Directors - Stephen Smith
A retired Police Officer who currently owns a beef cattle farm in Bulahdelah. Stephen is a local and is passionate about ensuring the community has access to quality healthcare.
