At Edge, we’ve been supporting people with disability on their employment journeys since 1984. From school leavers to seniors.

We’ve secured employment for over 9,000 people of all ages across the Perth metro region and practically every industry. From first jobs to new career paths. From wannabe entrepreneurs with small-business dreams to community volunteers. But more than finding or creating the right opportunity, we ensure everyone – every client and employer – has the personalised training and ongoing support they need to make each opportunity a success. It all started with Poppy asking about work experience at Officeworks during a visit with her dad. Edge worked closely with Officeworks to provide the employment support she needed.

Poppy enjoyed the friendly team environment, gained experience in customer service, and was supported by her NDIS Employment Support Coach to use public transport to get to and from Officeworks.

Our Term 4 students from our workplace preparation program, Project Employment, once again highlighted Week 6 as one of their favourite experiences. Each cohort visited a range of workplaces to gain a deeper understanding of different jobs and future opportunities.

A big thank you to all the businesses who welcomed us - from Your Place My Gym, to our FIFO guest speaker, Varsity, Toymate, Jim Kidd Sports and Scitech. Your time and support make a huge difference to our students!

It’s a reminder that we all have a role to play in strengthening accessibility, removing challenges, and building a community that is respectful and inclusive for everyone.

At Edge, we support people with disability to build their own pathway into employment. For some, that journey begins with building skills, volunteering or work experience to boost confidence. For others, it may be about preparing for paid work or learning how to succeed in a role they already have.

Working with Edge has helped Luka grow his confidence and build real-life skills, from money handling and travel training to interview prep and hospitality skills.
