Sometimes the universe gives you the sweetest little signs 💕

On the day patient Amanda welcomed her baby girl at our hospital, she was cared for by midwife Chelsee and theatre nurse Chelsea. As it turned out, Chelsea was already on Amanda’s list of baby names and seeing it twice on such a special day felt like it was meant to be!

So, meet baby Chelsea, pictured here with theatre nurse Chelsea, midwife Chelsee and obstetrician Dr Alisha McCreery. A beautiful name, a beautiful story, and a moment we’re so honoured to have been part of.

🚨 Big news for Subiaco Hospital!

We’re excited to share that Multiplex has been appointed to deliver Stage Three of our major redevelopment project, which includes a six-storey clinical building with:

✨ Expanded surgical and procedural capacity
✨ Modern, purpose-built facilities for a better patient experience
✨ Advanced orthopaedic and cardiac services

Key features of the clinical building include:

🦴 An expanded orthopaedic surgical area
🫀 Dedicated Heart Centre (with philanthropic support)
👨🏻‍⚕️ New operating theatres and a 30 bed Day of Surgery Admissions
⛪ A new Chapel and end-of-trip facilities

Stage Three construction is set to start in early 2026, with completion expected in 2029.

We’ve officially hung up our spurs and returned from the Wild West! It was a night to remember, at our Caregiver Christmas Party last Friday 🤠

This was our biggest Christmas event yet, with over 700 caregivers in attendance! Seeing our caregivers come together to celebrate, relax, and kick up their heels was the perfect way to honour the incredible work they do at our hospital.
