By resetting how the gut and hormones work, it improves insulin sensitivity and keeps blood sugar in check, reducing future complications.

It’s not a shortcut — it’s a proven medical treatment that can change lives.

Hey everyone! 👋 As you navigate your post-operative journey, let’s talk about a topic we discuss often: calories.

It can be overwhelming to see the numbers, but remember, these guidelines are your blueprint for both healing and success!

Here's the Lowdown on Your Calorie Goals:

Phase Approximate Daily Calorie Range Why It's Crucial

Initial Weeks (Healing) 400 to 800 calories Your new stomach pouch needs time to heal. This ultra-low range supports recovery and rapid initial weight loss.

Long-Term Maintenance 1,000 to 1,500 calories This is the typical maintenance range, but many find they need to stay closer to 1,000 calories (or even slightly below) to maintain their amazing progress!

👉 It is CRUCIAL that you follow the individualized post-operative meal plan provided by our team.
It’s not just about hitting a calorie number; it’s about making sure every bite counts toward getting the protein, vitamins, and minerals you need to feel energized and healthy.

Keep up the fantastic work! We are here to support you every step of the way.

GLP-1 vs Surgery: the cost reality. Surgery may seem costly upfront, but it quickly pays off—often within a year—while GLP-1 requires lifelong spending. Patients can save $9,000+ annually with surgery. Beyond savings, surgery offers durable, life-changing results, making it the more cost-effective and sustainable choice for severe obesity.
