The Fable of Phoenix Lifeforce
We are apiarists from Byron Bay, Australia.
Five years ago, Gabrielle Morley started a project to collect the pollen from her Phoenix Palm plantation, aware of the potent medicinal properties held by the male flower of the phoenix canariensus date palm.
This tree has been revered for centuries by ayurvedic and middle eastern cultures extolled in every ancient religious text for their pollen's life-enhancing properties & exceptional hormonal fertility benefits for both men & women.
She thought, what better way to capture the pollen, than with none other than nature's designated pollen collectors...
So we began studying apiculture to harness the potential of these palms to curate a sweet, potent medicinal elixir.
This idea gave birth to the concept of 'Phoenix Lifeforce' honey.
On our journey to becoming proficient keepers with an established apiary, we learned that commercial beekeeping and honey processing is often a corrupt game, resulting in stressed-out bees, with poor immune systems, that produce low-grade honey, which can contain additives and impurities.
Turns out, that's is one of the fundamental contributing causes of the mysterious, colony collapse disorder and honeybee depopulation.
So we went against the commercial grain and studied what bees require to have peak nutrition, immunity, and prolific natural production.
This led us to establish the apicultural utopia we like to call our 'Bee Haven', where we have collectively planted thousands of medicinal herbs, flowers, and trees for honeybees to forage and dine upon.
Like the Leptospermum Polygalifolium, to add "Manuka Power" to our potion, and Anise Hysopp, for its potent cardiac-healing properties.
These herbs complement the bees buffet of Mexican heather, sage, bergamot, rosemary, lemon balm, lavender, mustard and even more.
This plethora of plants is necessary for us because we understand
how important it is for bees health to have a balanced diet of lipids, fats, and proteins.
We have structured our planting so the property has an annual cycle of organic floral sources, removing any need to stress our girls with transportation and chemical herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers. All hives are routinely checked for health and honey is all extracted by hand.
We have provided our bees with 5-star accommodation, they reside in air-conditioned, insulated, antimicrobial, antibacterial, state of the art, award-winning homes, designed by 9 universities so they are happy healthy, comfortable and stress-free bees.
