According to a team of researchers from the Friedman School of nutrition science and policy at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, consumers are more baf...

Whether you're running, cycling or swimming, bad workout habits could leave you vulnerable to colds, flu, stomach bugs or skin infections.

Hi all

For any clients who didn't receive my texts or e-mail notifications, we are still operating with COVID-19 measures in place.

As restrictions continue to be lifted across various states please know that we are still taking every precaution (listed below) to to keep you safe.

As a community, it's important that we continue to take our personal responsibilities seriously by maintaining social distancing, staying home if sick and listening to the up to date advice from our local area health district (NNSWLH). This is perhaps more relevant now as we enter winter, a season typically associated with increased respiratory infections.

What we're doing:

All equipment continues to be sprayed with 70% alcohol surface spray after EVERY appointment. Bookings will be spaced to allow 10-15mins between clients to ensure a thorough clean can take place.

Zoom or Facetime sessions can be arranged and Medicare and Workcover NSW support this

Physical distancing will be strictly adhered to.

There is hand sanitiser at the door and everyone is asked to use before and after their appointment.

The doors will be kept open, rain, hail or shine, to ensure plenty of cross ventilation.

I have also suggested the use of cotton boxing inners whilst exercising. They basically prevent you from touching your face, which we are all aware of by now, is known avenue of infection.

If you forget your towel or drink bottle there are plenty of clean towels and disposal cups.

Lastly, if you feel sick in the slightest, please stay home and/or get tested. This obviously applies to myself also. Gladys has urged us to do so. Don't disappoint Gladys!

Thank you to all clients who have done just that over the last 6 weeks.

Here's to staying vigilant and keeping healthy.

Cheers

Brian 👍

As the government’s COVID-19 shutdowns drive people into their homes, many of us may find regular exercising slipping off our daily to-do lists. But exercise isn’t just about being physically active (although that’s important too); research from the Black Dog Institute has found that as little...

There's little evidence ice is good for injuries like rolled ankles. Now, some researchers suspect it may delay the healing process.

We all want food to heal us, but focusing on single foods and eating piles of them is not the answer
