As many of you might be aware, Sunnybank Private Hospital and Sunnybank Specialist Centre (number 245) have been listed as COVID exposure site and I would like to make the following clarification regarding the current situation.

- our building is the McCullough Specialist Centre (number 259) is a completely separate building
- Dr Huang has not operated at the Sunnybank Private Hospital since the hospital becomes an exposure site (Friday, 30/7/2021)

Our clinic remains open and we adhere strictly to COVID-safe protocol but if you have any concerns please contact Diana on 3345 1000 we are happy to reschedule your clinic appointment to a later date. We are happy to offer TeleHealth where possible.

Dr Huang has made the decision to temporarily suspend all her operating lists until the last week of August at Sunnybank Private Hospital to ensure there is no inadvertent exposure risks to her patients to any hospital personnel or visitors who might unknowingly be exposed to the virus last Friday.

All patients booked for the coming weeks are being offered alternate dates at either the Greenslopes Private Hospital or late August once she resumes her lists at Sunnybank Private Hospital.

We thank you for your understanding in this very delicate situation.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a healthy and Happy New Year. Thank you to our patients, family and friends for the love and the support. We mourned for the lives which were lost this year. 2020 has undoubtedly been one of the most challenging year in our life time. It was filled with so much uncertainty and fear and now it is almost behind us. We welcome the new year with new hopes and optimism.
