Extend limbs away from each other and reach them as far as comfortable. That’s a good stretch and contract 🧘🏼‍♀️ Isotonic, isometric and isokinetic action on sarcomeres and myofilaments happen by simply stretching, making the muscles long and strong.

Gym Yoga is, these days, a good alternative to studio Yoga. A good plus, it’s much better value to join a gym than a studio. If you’re one to try other workouts, there is more on offer. An even better plus, gym Yoga teachers have had just as much training as studio teachers. The downside is all gym Yoga classes are offered as ‘general Yoga,’ and not, classified and offered as particular styles. It means that you wouldn’t know what kind of class it will be when you walk in; gentle, restorative, flows, stand-alone, vigorous, beginners, intermediate. Do speak to the teacher before the class starts so you can get the best out of the class.

Isn’t this the ? is not . Religion is, certainly, not morality. See how much immorality has been, is being committed because of, due to, despite religions. Religions have a place in . The true test of whether it is a good one is to ask one’s self whether its faithful are good, moral, beings. If it makes them intolerant, judgmental, biased, hateful of and against others, then it isn’t. If it makes them live a moral, life on a daily basis, then it is. What is a life? That would involve thinking, talking, behaving for the good of others, as well as, one’s self. If by thinking, talking and doing something, I commit physical, mental, emotional harm on another, then it isn’t moral. A good yardstick would be to ask one’s self whether one would like if it another thought, spoke of, and behaved a certain way towards me. If another stole something from me, would I like it? If not, then I shouldn’t steal from another either. If I was told a lie, would I like it? If not, then I shouldn’t lie to others either. If someone hurting me physically is an absolutely abhorrent idea, then it would be the same absolutely abhorrent idea to others if I did that to them. Sounds like The Golden Rule? It is. I instruct placement of feet for no other reason than to protect clients’ and students’ bodies. The feet are the foundation in all standing postures. Stability, strength, balance start nowhere else.
When standing, always point the big toes straight forward as in the body’s orientation and alignment. Some teachers instruct the second big toes. If mindful of the placement of these two pairs of phalanges, ankle, all the way to the shoulder joints are especially protected and kept safe. Practise safe
