.van.camp heads to nationals next week.

I’ve learned something from Tate. He only runs about 15km per week and puts most of his energy into quality and drill work. Some of his competitors run 3-4x as much and still can’t beat him. At his age I did more kms in the pool than he runs.

Running can be hard on the body, especially when you’re growing. I think that Tate and his coaches have the right idea. I wonder if this approach could carry over in to other sports known for overtraining like swimming.

Good luck Tate.

It has been a pleasure getting to know them so far. Each athlete has been through the clinic for injury screen.
