I don’t buy into the whole ‘It’s just age’ thing.
I aim to live my best life and make the most of my genes.
People often tell me I don’t look (or act😆 ) my age, and sure, genetics play a part.
But there’s also epigenetics, which means we can influence how our genes are expressed through our lifestyle choices.
Simply put...We can boost the good stuff and tone down the bad.
Even before I knew the term ‘epigenetics’, I lived and breathed these ideals.
For example, I prefer walking approx. 5km a day over hitting the gym too hard.
Intense workouts (too regularly) can increase oxidation in the body while regular walking helps with mobility and maintaining an active lifestyle as we grow older.
I’m a big fan of the Blue Zones research — places where people live long, healthy lives.
DOn’t be fooled by the latest trends - adopt healthy habits that last and are proven to work!
Our retreats are based on these principles, focusing on living & breathing the experience over talking about it.
And the modern biggie....Stress!
Stress doesn’t just mess with your mind and emotions; it affects your body too.
That’s why I take a holistic approach to health, combining all aspects of well-being.
This isn’t necessarily about living longer; it’s about living better.
And I’m passionate about sharing this journey with others.
