Contribute to research on school attendance for Autistic children! $25 voucher to participants whilst supporting research in a much needed area.
🌟 Easter holiday sessions now available 🌟 Help us understand what helps—or hinders—young people attend and participate in school! Please share through your networks.
We’re looking for autistic, otherwise neurodivergent, and neurotypical young people aged 9-16 to take part in a research study. 📌 Interested? Learn more and sign up here: https://griffithuw.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cv8FWfkZu64Zoiy
🔹 What’s involved?
Your young person will complete a face-to-face card-sorting activity with our team or community partners. Each card describes something about school, and they’ll sort them into piles based on what does or doesn’t impact their school attendance and participation.
🔹 Where?
Sessions can take place at:
📍 Your home (if you’re within 30km of Brisbane or Logan)
📍 Griffith University (Logan or Mount Gravatt campus)
📍 Spotswood, Inner West Melbourne
🔹 Why participate?
✅ Your insights will help improve support for students.
✅ You’ll receive a $25 WISH gift voucher as a thank-you!
✅ We’ll provide a personalised summary report of the factors affecting your young person’s school experience—useful for sharing with teachers or therapists.
This research is a collaboration with Tiffany Westphal (creator of the Student Stress Investigation card-sorting tool and Director of School Can’t Australia) and other community partners.
