Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible women we celebrate today and every day. 💐💛

To the mums, mums-to-be, nannas, step mums, mother figures, those longing to become mums, those grieving loss, and those missing their own mums today - we see you, we honour you, and we hold space for your story.

As a team of women (and some mums ourselves), we understand that motherhood is beautiful, messy, powerful, emotional, exhausting, and deeply meaningful all at once.

It asks for incredible strength, while also teaching softness, vulnerability, patience, and resilience.

At Pelvic Health Physio, we feel privileged to support women through every stage of life - pregnancy, postpartum, healing, loss, growth, and everything in between.

More than a clinic, we hope to be a place where women feel heard, cared for, supported, and never alone.

Today is for celebrating all the love, care, sacrifice, and quiet strength that women give so freely every day.
To every woman walking her own journey with motherhood in some way - you are amazing, worthy, and deeply loved. 🌸

With lots of love,
The Pelvic Health Physio Team 💕

Today, we hold space for every kind of mum 🤍

New mums, seasoned mums, single mums, working mums, stay-at-home mums, mums in business, stepmums, foster mums, mums navigating loss, mums-to-be, and the ones quietly holding it all together behind the scenes-you are seen, valued, and incredible.

As a women’s physio clinic, we’re here to create a safe, supportive space where mums can be heard, feel understood, and stay connected. You don’t have to carry it all alone.

Check in on a mum today. Remind her she’s doing an amazing job.
Because when mums are supported, our whole community grows stronger 💛

“The knack” = timing your pelvic floor to switch *on* before pressure hits. Our Pelvic Health Physio, Rach, explains this ..

Think: cough, sneeze, or lift → gently squeeze and tighten your pelvic floor muscles, just prior to doing the movement or exertion (ie prior to a cough, or lifting a baby, or a grocery bag). Using the knack, along with tailored pelvic floor muscle training can be supportive for some symptoms (ie sometimes bladder leakage)…

Quick, subtle, powerful. Practice it daily so it becomes automatic for your pelvic floor 💪

Working with a pelvic floor physio, to understand how your pelvic floor muscles function can be super beneficial to train your muscles with correct activation, strength & timing coordination 💪🏽 our pelvic floor pilates classes work on teaching you how to use these muscles correctly 🤍
