Meet Ashleigh our new Provisional Psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner.

Ashleigh is a dedicated provisional psychologist who recently graduated with a Masters of Professional Psychology from the University of Southern Queensland.
With a solid foundation in psychology and a wealth of practical experience, she brings a compassionate and collaborative approach to the field.

While primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), she recognises the importance of therapeutic flexibility and incorporates elements from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) when suitable.

Her practice is guided by the unique strengths and needs of each individual, ensuring a tailored and effective therapeutic experience. Ashleigh finds fulfilment in helping people discover their inherent value and navigate the world with newfound confidence, ultimately empowering them to live their best life.

Passionate about guiding young people and their families, she is passionate about addressing issues related to anxiety, body image, disordered eating, perfectionism, and low self-worth. Ashleigh is committed to making a positive impact on the mental health landscape.

Nim is an experienced psychologist with a warm person-centered approach to therapy and intervention.

Nim creates a safe space for her clients and works collaboratively during therapeutic supports to build confidence and work towards individual goals.

Nim is experienced working along-side clients with a wide range of presentations including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress-related disorders, mood-induced disturbances, domestic violence support and addictive behaviours. Nim is committed to helping people develop skills and strategies to discover strengths while striving towards a fulfilling life.

Peter uses evidence-based interventions, a wealth of life understanding and experience, and an approach individually tailored to each client to assist with mental health goals.

Peter is highly focused on the therapeutic relationship and uses a calm and relaxed manner, positive communication skills, empathy and understanding, and appropriate and subtle humour during therapy sessions.

PSYCHOLOGIST BASc (Psych), Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Learning Support), Australian Psychological Association (APA). Australian Health Pracitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Queensland Guidance and Counselling Association (QGCA), Queensland College of Teachers (QCT), Circle of Security International.

Leigh-Anne’s special interests include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Circle of Security Parenting (COSP).

Leigh-Anne has worked extensively with people who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, Communication Disorders, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
