Chances are...if your going to bed at night rethinking some of your parenting moments from the day, it's not because you are a bad parent...it's because you are a good one!

Parenting is hard. And awesome. And frustrating. And fun. And triggering. And amazing. And well just everything...

It's also a practice, not a perfection. This was our angel Lauren's favourite saying in yoga and I'm feeling it's relevance in yoga.off the mat.

Yell less Kate...you can do it. And in the moments you can't...that's OK too.

Musings from today's Body Intuitive session with a beautifully in-tune client of mine... all about the highs of life and the bodies chemical reactions to that.

We often forget we are blood and bone and all the physical properties that comes with being in a body. We can have the most glorious narrative in our head of whats going on but when we strip it down to the basics we are a chemical compound doing what we are bound to do.

What came through today was that dopamine highs are not the problem (can we stop making them so) having a stable place to land them can be the tricky part. We are meant to be high and equally meant to be low. We are meant to ride addictions and equally have moments of complete deficit. We are meant to lose ourselves and find ourselves. It's dopamine at its best. We shouldn't be 'beating' dopamine...we should be practicing landing it....on stable sturdy reliable ground. If it feels rickety...then you haven't landed it yet.

My question to you is where is your safe place to land?
