Starting out as a skinny kid who was bullied for his shape and size, I began my fitness journey with the goal of becoming big and strong like the people on YouTube and Instagram back in the early2010's. I soon began to enjoy fitness for the health benefits instead of just trying to impress my bullies in the hope they'd accept me if I was bigger and stronger. The learning curved continued and I ended up becoming a competitive cheerleader for 7 years which switched my goals from "becoming big" to "becoming the best athlete possible". The sport taught me SO much including time management, prioritization, and the value of a support community. For 3 of the 7 years I was also a coach who managed athletes from age 3-25+ with the goal of building them up to be the best cheerleader and version of themselves they could be. Within this time I also made my way up the ranks of a local 24/7 gym to co-manager within 3 years of starting as an employee. This was an extremely insightful experience to know how the gym, that I've used and loved for years, actually works and what is expected as a club member and staff member. Within the 3 years period I acquired my Certificate 3 in Fitness under the guidance of the amazing staff there. In 2022 I moved away from my home town and decided to reboot my fitness journey and document it for myself and others. Putting my health and wellness first was my key priority which resulted in healthier life choices, less partying/drinking, less erratic work schedules and a sense of peace. Now in 2023 I have built a space/community for gym/fitness beginners to learn the basics and build their confidence up by watching myself, no one special/sponsored/famous, tackle the fitness regardless of people that try to put me down. I'm excited to continue building the community and business to reach other beginners in the space and give them the confidence they need to achieve goals.
