These recent changes from QLD Health put enormous strain on small practices like mine, and it’s heartbreaking to think that the future of our businesses and the care we provide is now under threat.

We are qualified, experienced professionals who deserve the chance to continue doing what we love without being burdened to the point where survival feels impossible. I hope our voices are heard and a fair, workable amendment can be made

Last week I had the pleasure of attending Australia’s first Corneotherapy conference! What is Corneotherapy? It’s a skin treatment methodology focused on preserving and restoring the skin barrier - the stratum corneum, acid mantle and microbiome. We got to hear from experts in the field discuss case studies and what why this method works so well especially for inflamed/dehydrated skins. Another important note which is essential for ALL skins is getting in your omega 3s daily!! Essential fatty acids play such an important role in not only skin health but for every cell in the body.
