When I sit down with a client who has hormone health goals, we don’t just talk about food, supplements or stress, we go through what they use in a day to day basis.
Your daily exposure matters and a lot of it is happening through products you’re using every single day without thinking twice (until you do and then you can’t unsee it…🥹)
Things like:
• conventional cleaning products with synthetic fragrances
• heavily scented body wash, deodorant + skincare
• standard tampons and feminine hygiene products
• harsh antibacterial washes and douches
These can contribute to your overall toxic load which your body then has to process, primarily through the liver (aka your hormone processing centre).
This doesn’t mean you need to throw everything out overnight, and I always instruct woman to start one thing at a time.
RULE ☝️when one product runs out, replace it with something better/fragrance free/glass/stainless steel.
These small, intentional swaps can make a real difference over time.
Think:
• fragrance-free or naturally scented cleaning products (e.g. swapping to Eco Store over conventional brands)
• simpler body care with minimal ingredients
• organic or low-tox period products
• reducing unnecessary antibacterial + “over-cleansing” habits
Hormone health isn’t just about what you add in it’s also about what you reduce.
If you’re doing “all the right things” but still not seeing shifts, this is often a missing piece💫
Save this as a reminder to check what you’re being exposed to daily 🤍
