Disclaimer: Don’t be fooled, I swore I’d never be one of those fake influencers. These pics are NOT my current shape 😂😂 They’re from about 20 weeks out from my last comp prep.

With my new career in real estate around the corner, I’ve decided it’s time to get back into shape (yep, the attached photos are the new goal). Since my last prep, along the way I started drifting toward a dad bod, courtesy of a little midlife crisis 😆🥹😂

Looking back at these shots, I remember how good I felt in that season. I was happy with my physique, had balance with my nutrition, and if I went off-plan, it didn’t wreck me physically or mentally. Clothes fit just right, not too tight, not too loose.

I also felt my strongest in the gym, and this boosted my mental focus, confidence and self esteem.

Most importantly, my lifestyle felt perfectly balanced. I could focus on my family and career without one sacrificing the other.

That’s the sweet spot I’m chasing again.

Goals matter. They give you purpose, drive, and focus. Without them, you’ll always fall short.

Keep hustling 👊

I can now be completely RAW with my posts now that I’m semi-retired from the fitness industry😂😂

No matter how busy life gets or where it takes you.

You can let things get to you and beat you down OR you can choose to fight back and keep fighting.

You always have the gym. That doesn’t have to be a choice.

It’s up to you. No excuses.

I’ve changed careers, phased out of full time online coaching, juggling 4 jobs to make ends meet, maintaining a marriage, completed studying, AND battled another recent injury which has caused me to restart all over again at the same time.

Massive shoutout to my client and busy mum, Ricki from the NT, who’s been showing incredible perseverance in her journey.

From day one, Ricki wasn’t someone who felt confident taking gym selfies, but here she is, not only training hard but showing up stronger mentally and physically every week. Her self-confidence has skyrocketed, and it shows in more ways than one.

When she first came to me, she felt lost, lacking parental purpose, putting herself last, struggling with nutrition, and wanting to rebuild her body and mindset.

Like many mums, she was hesitant to train in a busy gym, but she faced that fear head-on and owned it.

I’ll be real, there have been weeks where check-ins were missed and coaching took a back seat. But life happens. And not everyone will be 100% on the ball all the time.

What matters most is this: Ricki didn’t give up. She stayed honest with me from the start, asked for patience, and proved she’s willing to do the work at her own pace, and now, she’s thriving.
