Practicing yoga during pregnancy can help you prepare mentally and physically for the challenges of pregnancy and birth by building confidence, strength and stamina in the mind and body!

It will not only help you to prepare your body physically, but will also help you build and strengthen your connection with your own intuition about what is right for you, your body, and your baby.

You will have an opportunity to learn different breathing techniques to help manage pain and anxiety during pregnancy, labour and birth.

During our Prenatal Yoga Classes you will be guided through a range of yoga postures that will help to create space and alignment in the pelvis, build stability and strength in your body and relieve leg and back pain by focusing on good posture and alignment.

Our classes can help you to improve blood and oxygen flow, increase energy and maintain flexibility and balance in the body as it goes through all the changes during pregnancy.

You will explore several active birth movements that will help you to stay active and upright during labour and birth.

You will be guided through a range of pelvic floor practices to promote healthy tone and flexibility in the pelvic floor muscles to assist in birth and in healing after birth.
We will explore different breathing techniques that will promote calm and reduce anxiety around labour and birth.

You will be guided through several meditations and visualisations that will help to connect to your body and baby, to relieve anxiety and fear around birth and to relieve exhaustion.

Classes are suitable from 14 weeks gestation all the way up until birth.

Morning Pregnancy Yoga classes will be starting on the 22nd May

The classes are focused on bringing awareness and deeper connection to your body, your baby and your intuition.

You will be guided through a gentle flow which includes a breathing practice at the beginning and a guided meditation at the end of the class.

All classes are suitable for women in their 2nd & 3rd trimesters. Beginner friendly.

As I have entered this month, I felt an urge for a big change and a fresh start.

I can see the shifts in nature and I can feel the shifts inside of me. New and fresh ideas are flooding my mind.

This month is calling me for new creations and projects; for self rediscovery, transformation and inner growth; for releasing and letting go.

This is a time for self expression and self love.
This is a time to let go of what no longer serves me, to open up to new opportunities and trust the process.

Three years ago I had courage to start my small business teaching prenatal yoga on the Sunshine Coast.

During this time I taught my classes in different locations and studios all over Sunshine Coast.

I had a privilege to meet many many beautiful pregnant women and become a small part of their pregnancy journey!

The words cannot describe how grateful I am to be doing what I love the most - supporting, sharing, connecting, guiding and empowering women through their most sacred time in their life!

Thank you to all the amazing women who joined my classes!

Yoga & Mindfulness for Birth is designed for women in their 3rd trimester to help them prepare physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually for their birthing experience.

During the sessions you will have an opportunity to explore movements and positions that can help create space in the pelvis for baby’s descent and rotation.
You will learn and explore the most effective birth positions for your body before birth, so when you are in labour, you can intuitively find the position your body needs.

In each session we will practice different tools and techniques (breathing techniques, visualisations, meditation, affirmations and more) that can help you stay calm, relaxed and focused during birth and help you cope with the sensations of labour.
You will explore early labour and active labour movements and positions using a birth ball, peanut ball and a Rebozo (Mexican shawl).

In our sessions you will learn about how your body works during labour and birth, as we discuss different aspects of physiological birth.

We will discuss the benefits of vocalising/ using sounds during birth.

You will have an opportunity to become a part of a beautiful local community of like minded mammas to-be, as you connect and share your pregnancy journeys together.

Classes are held at the beautiful studio in Moffat Beach.

During the 4 weeks of Pregnancy yoga, you will be guided through a gentle and safe practice to help maintain strength and stability and increase mobility in the body.

We will focus on good postural alignment and optimal breathing that can help to alleviate some of the common pregnancy discomforts, down regulate your nervous system and bring more balance to your body.

You’ll have an opportunity to practice different breathing techniques to help you feel more calm, focused, centered and relaxed throughout your pregnancy journey, labour and birth.

As well, enjoy guided meditations and visualisations for deep relaxation offered at the end of each session.

You will get an opportunity to share your journey and become a part of a local community of like minded pregnant mammas.
