This week is Tinnitus Awareness Week 👂

Workers exposed to hazardous noise may experience hearing loss and tinnitus, which could become permanent. In the construction industry the risk is high as workers are exposed to loud noises including from ⚒️ equipment and tools and 🚧 plant and machinery.

As an employer, you must reduce your workers’ exposure to noise as much as is possible.

There's been a surge in baby brown hatchlings with sightings reported near homes. Baby brown snakes might be small but they are just as venomous as adults. Anyone who sees one should contact a licensed snake catcher.

Did you know the average man in Australia today has fewer close friendships than his father did? But he’s also carrying more stress, more debt, and more pressure to hold it together.

At CFMF, we’re building spaces where men can drop the mask, share the burden, and find brothers to walk with.

Because friendships aren’t a luxury.

People don’t always say when they’re struggling. Sometimes it shows up as a cancelled plan, a quieter voice, or a shift you can’t quite name.

If you notice someone pulling back, reach out. You don't need to pressure them to share or talk. Simply let them know you have noticed a change, you care and you're there for them.

It might take some time before they feel comfortable talking, and that's OK. Knowing they have someone willing to listen may be all they need for now.
