What a busy 8 months it has been here at Roseburn Refuge! Nelly has finally completed her 3 courses and she is feeling a whole mixture of feelings - bliss, joy, accomplishment, and many more - and with each final step she went outside to run, dance, laugh, cry, sit, hug (Mark and the trees) and just BE with the land and in so much gratitude for holding her and transforming her throughout this odyssey 💚💚💚
Not only were there so many personal healing moments and transformations but a blessing to witness 4 beautiful women on their transformational and healing journeys with nature as co-therapist (and Happy playing a beautiful healing role here too)

your witnessing throughout my Diploma of Ecotherapy - this course and your guidance as ‘teacher’ was like no other school or course I’ve ever been involved with - I wish all schools and courses could be setup in this way! Spiraling and unfolding from my ego self to my eco self has been what I’ve needed all along - And what a beautifully illustrated Diploma 🌿🌳💚) and Thank you to Brenda at The Awakening Group
for your invitation to weave the counselling and ecotherapy magic together as part of my Diploma of Holistic Counselling. I have transformed and healed so much through this course and your extensive knowledge and experience of healing trauma through holistic modalities and family constellation work has been invaluable. I have loved merging this into the nature space 🍃
We have so loved the forest school adventures with children and adults! What joy and fun - and don’t you just love our Forest School hats 😍 We were finally also able to launch Laughter Yoga (training that we both completed last year) Thanks for the laughs Heather Joy at Heather Joy's Laughter Yoga Happydemic 😂🤣😂
Thank you Chris and Kristy for all your help at Forest School Learning Initiative - whittling is one of my new favourite hobbies! Your help with all the forest skills and the health and safety protocols in setting up here at Roseburn Refuge has been so helpful 🙏🏼
