🎄 It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! 🎶

Visits to The Grinch, Santa, school-holiday swims, and gingerbread making were just a few of the highlights for Casey and Lyla last weekend. With Christmas carols filling the house and plenty of happy smiles, it was impossible not to feel the festive spirit!

🌟 A gorgeous day out with Lyla and Peyton today!
We spent the morning exploring the Ginger Factory ~ wandering through the gardens, riding the train, and browsing all the novelty shops and attractions. After that, we headed to Cotton Tree Pool for a picnic lunch, a refreshing swim, and some sunshine. The girls were an absolute delight and made the whole day so much fun. We’re so grateful to be part of their adventures.

This week, James enjoyed an exciting day at Aussie World with Guriya, and Zahli has been out and about walking along the water and loving the swings at Cotton Tree with Sarah.
Casey mastered some delicious banana muffins with Nat, and Chevarnah created festive salt dough Christmas decorations.
Eva spent time getting to know Ravyn ~ relaxing after school with a swim, showcasing her violin skills, puzzle talents, and impressively speedy braille reading!
Ravyn also enjoyed meeting little Sophia and had a blast on the Dodgems with Casey during their shadow shift.

We’re also excited to welcome Teddy, Sophia, and their families, along with our newest Support Superstar, EN Ravyn, to the Little Bean family! 💛

❤️ Ravyn’s arrival has opened up some additional availability, so please reach out if you’re a new family or a current family needing a few extra hours of support.

We’re filling up fast for the Christmas school holidays and can’t wait to see our new little local friend Alistair again, as well as spend more time with our Little Bean who visits us from Brisbane, Archer! 😎

Last weekend at the Maleny Music Festival, Casey & Lyla explored new styles of music, enjoyed their first dance in front of a live band 😍, and were completely captivated by the Buderim Orchestra ~ with Lyla enthusiastically calling out “more, more, more!” 🥰

This weekend, Casey loved visiting the new Jujuba Indoor Play Centre in Caloundra, practised his bowling technique, perfected some banana muffins with Nat, and finished the day with a visit to one of his favourite people 🎅🏻.

We love supporting our children to participate in our local community, discover new interests, create moments of fun & develop confidence along the way .

🌊 Can you help us help a local family?
Naomi, a single mum, is currently undergoing intensive cancer treatment while caring for her 8-year-old son, Huxley, who has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair.

The family has recently been told they need to move from their current rental home in Currimundi. Naomi has found a new property in Little Mountain, but with her health and Huxley’s care needs, the process of packing, moving, and cleaning is understandably overwhelming — and they need to be out within the next 2½ weeks.

Surf for Kids — a local not-for-profit with over 20 years of community backing (formerly TBM) — is reaching out to our amazing network for support.

We’re hoping to partner with a couple of generous local businesses who can donate their services to make this move possible for the McMahon family:
• Professional Removalist (to pack, move, and unpack)
• Bond Cleaning Service

Meet Eva — one of our original Little Beans, now a proud Teen Bean! 🌟
Eva is a girl of many talents: she’s learning the violin, a confident Braille reader, developing her cooking skills, mastering tactile puzzles, and always brings plenty of laughter and energy to our Wednesday afternoons together! We have loved watching you grow into the beautiful teenage girl you are Eva. Keep Shining💫

September School Holidays = So Much Fun! 🌈

What an incredible few weeks we’ve had during the September school holidays!

These holidays we were lucky enough to get a visit from Fred from Yeppoon!, Archer from Sydney and welcome our new friend Alistair who is a local. It was lovely to spend time with some new friends. 

Our Little Beans had an absolute blast ~ exploring, laughing, creating, & socialising.
Beach days and picnics to cooking sessions, science experiments, bike riding dancing, strawberry picking, games, and sensory fun, there was never a dull moment! 🎨🏖️🍪

A big thank you to our support staff for bringing so much energy, creativity, and care ~ and to our families for trusting us to provide a safe, supportive, and joy-filled space for your children.

Chocolate Brownie in the oven…. & togs on for a swim In the Hydrotherapy Pool for Lyla &
Louise at Kawana Aquatic Centre….. Harry Potter waterplay, shoes on for a visit to Caloundra markets, a bike ride, lots of freeplay & a visit to Rush Adventureland for Casey (who stayed the weekend 🥰) with Natalie & Nalissa …hats & smiles on for a walk at Cotton Tree for James with Guriya….a fun weekend with our friends in the beautiful sping weather 😎 we hope our families enjoyed their rest 😌

Father’s Day Fun with a happy bunch! 🥳 ….Card making for James, Brownie making for Sophie, Pancake & Card making for Sophia, out & about with Lyla, Gingerbread decorating, & Sealife Adventures with Casey. Lots of Alternative Communication opportunities, gross motor fun, Orientation and Mobility at our local parks, & fine motor skills practised.
