Kate Maryam is a modern Medicine Woman, Shamanic Healer & Teacher, Psychic Seer, and Light Leader. Her path and purpose in life is to guide others on their inner journey to back to their true essence, their divine nature, and their sacred self. Kate has a deep appreciation & affinity with shamanic culture, teachings and healing. She has answered a strong calling to dive deeper into shamanic practices to compliment her existing soul service work in energy healing, psychic development, feminine embodiment and plant medicine healing. Kate embarked upon a spiritual pilgrimage through the sacred sites of Peru, and was blessed to experience many ceremonial blessings from the Maestros and Shamans, including the first initiation of a Karpay Ceremony of Munay (Opening the Heart) with The Sacred Path Of The Inca Healer "Paqo-Ñusta Pampamesayoq". In 2025, she is undertaking a 12 month Medicine Woman apprenticeship of Hampiq Ñust’a, and will be returning to Peru for a deepening in this calling. Kate has a passion for empowering others with the tools and strategies needed to live a full of love, connection and courage, and through strengthening their relationship with their own inner voice and wisdom. She believes in the powerful healing properties of the sun, the moon and our natural surrounds, and a deep grounded connection to Pachamama. Kate has completed the following qualifications and trainings, and has practitioner membership with IICT.

Peru, I'm coming for you! 🤎🗻

This weekend I've been working on my itinerary for my upcoming trip to my favourite place in the world.

Over the years, I have travelled through Asia, Europe, North America, the UK, but nothing feels quite like home to my heart as Peru does.

Last week, I was watching a documentary about the Magic of the Andes mountain range. I had tears streaming down my face - a sacred remembering of the elevation to the Great Spirit, yet deeply grounded to Pachamama.

In May, I'll be back in Cusco and Sacred Valley to continue my studies - forever a student of this ancient wisdom. And I'm really excited to be on pilgrimage through Chavin, the birthplace of Wachuma.

I'll also be visiting Chazuta to meet Oliver and Luz - the owners of the beautiful family farm where I source single-origin heirloom cacao for my side business,

Hummingbird Message - Drink deep of life

Have you been feeling like the undercurrent of fear has been keeping your breath shallow?

During these turbulent times I have been reluctant to open my heart, to live life fully and to say yes to much. I’ve been hesitant, unsure and reluctant.

But the key message of the shamanic power animal of the hummingbird/ colibri / qente is that no matter how long and far the journey is, to pause and enjoy the sweet nectar of life.

“To drink deep of life” was running through my head yesterday as I was processing deep feelings. Life is here for us, to be experienced by us, every rainbow is life magic inviting you to stop and take it in, no matter what is going on around us.

So this is a reminder from the hummingbird - and I allow my heart to beat in coherence with her magic.

Who can benefit from Rite of the Womb? 🌹

I've had lots of questions about the upcoming Rite of the Womb Ceremony....

We store so much in our womb - it's a porous and absorbent space energetically, and is not often considered for healing unless it's serving a physical purpose of growing a baby!

However, the womb space is the centre for all creation - our own rebirth; birthing projects; creating a life we love.

Rite of the Womb offers healing to this part of our body through energy work (no physical touch).

Women may choose this ceremony for their healing for these reasons:

🌹birth trauma and/or medical intervention
🌹se*ual trauma and/or abuse
🌹hormonal issues including endometriosis, PCOS, and amenorrhea
🌹hysterectomies and surgical removal of physical anatomy

Grief is like a dark passenger, in your awareness but moving and changing form. 🩶

Some days it feels like it's the front passenger - right there beside you as you go about your day.

Other days it's riding in the back seat, somewhat more subtle and gentle.

Then there's days where it's hiding in the boot, and you feel like you're coming out the otherside of the process.

But then there are the days where it's driving the vehicle, and has full control over the navigation system. And there's nothing you can do, but go along for the ride, wherever it takes you.

I don't know if it's been mercury retrograde that has made me feel like I'm back in my old hurts. Crying about things that happened a while back. And then grieving the recent events that have deeply challenged me.

I'm still also experiencing a lot of shock and disbelief - which in a lot of ways is harder to move through because it makes you feel completely frozen.

I know that this too shall pass, and I know I'm not alone in moving with personal grief and collective grief.

I'm grateful for the beautiful community in my life, for messaging me and checking in on me. I'm likely to tell you I'm okay, which is true. I'm okay, but I have many many moments where I feel like I'm not okay at all. But I can confidently say, I will be okay.

We come together to honour ourselves as women through the ceremonial vessel of reverence and celebration. 💗

We will share in a Rite of Passage Ritual - the witnessing of each other honouring our womanhood, whether we are maidens, mothers, magas or crones. For many women, this is the first time we've been witnessed in this way, as we may not have been honoured through rites of passage when we were a girl.

I hold this work so deeply, because the remembering of our feminine divinity is not always easy. We face our wounds of rejection, silence, pain, suffering, trauma and shame.
