🌿 A Note on My Work & the Path I’m Walking 🌿

My work has always been rooted in natural medicine, energy healing and an understanding of how the body, mind and nervous system communicate. That foundation remains central to everything I do.
Alongside this, intuition has always been present — not as something separate or abstract, but as another way of listening. In clinical practice, we learn to observe patterns, responses and subtle cues. Intuitive insight works in much the same way, accessing symbolic and energetic information that sits beneath conscious awareness.
In recent years, I’ve felt called to give this aspect of my work greater expression, particularly through oracle and symbolic insight. This isn’t a shift away from natural therapy, but a deepening of it. Where the body speaks through sensation and symptom, the psyche and soul speak through image, metaphor and inner knowing.
Some people are drawn to grounded therapeutic support.
Others resonate more with intuitive reflection and symbolic guidance.
Many find value in the meeting place between the two.
My approach remains ethical, steady and client-led — offering space for insight, integration and self-recognition, rather than prediction or dependency.

✨ The Importance of Grounding ✨

We live in a world full of noise — technology, stress, rushing, overthinking, and other people’s energy. It’s no wonder so many of us feel scattered, anxious, or exhausted.

Grounding is the return to yourself.
It’s the simple act of coming back into your body, reconnecting with the Earth, and letting your nervous system settle.

At Tree Therapies, grounding is one of the first and most powerful foundations of healing.
When you reconnect with the land, you reconnect with your spirit.

Grounding can: ✅ Reduce anxiety and tension
✅ Lower stress hormones
✅ Clear mental fog
✅ Release emotional overload
✅ Bring you from fight-or-flight back into peace

Try grounding by: 🌿 Walking barefoot on grass or sand
🌿 Sitting with your back against a tree
🌿 Gardening or touching soil
🌿 Holding a crystal or natural object
🌿 Breathing deeply with both feet on the earth

The Earth has its own heartbeat — and when we connect to it, we remember ours.
So today, take a breath, touch the ground, and let nature hold you.

🌳 The Gentle Art of Letting Go of Control 🌳

As human beings, we often reach for control when life feels uncertain. It’s a natural response—our minds like order, predictability, and safety. But here’s the paradox: the tighter we try to hold on, the more anxious, exhausted, and disconnected we can feel.

From a psychological perspective, the urge to control is often rooted in fear—fear of what might happen, fear of loss, or fear of not being enough. Yet research and clinical practice show us that resilience doesn’t come from controlling every outcome. It comes from building trust in our ability to adapt, respond, and find meaning in whatever unfolds.

💡 Loosening the grip doesn’t mean giving up. It means shifting from “I must make this go my way” to “I trust myself to navigate whatever comes.” This mindset creates space for curiosity, compassion, and even joy in the unknown.

✨ Try this simple practice:

Notice when you feel the urge to micromanage or overthink.

Pause, breathe, and ask: What would happen if I softened my grip just a little?

Remind yourself: Uncertainty is not danger—it’s possibility.

When we release the need to control, we don’t lose power—we actually reclaim our freedom.

My journey began not in a class room or clinic, but beneath the branches of an ancient tree in the Irish countryside. I was a child, visiting from Australia, when I stood before it- an old, weathered Oak tree that seemed to breathe with memory. As I placed my hands against its bark, something stirred within me. the choice of claiming your life as your own, or to simply abide to the circumstances you have been given.....

There will rise a call from deep within...
and you will come to stand face to face with your soul.....
and at that particular moment, you will be asked ...“ are you willing to do what it takes to call yourself back home?”......

and if you say yes, even as your heart trembles.....the branches of the trees will bow down to touch your feet, the winds will howl, the waves will crash to the shores, and the moon will shine her benevolent light on your face.....and as you stand there, not knowing how~where or when, the path will open up right before your eyes.....as you begin the journey back to yourself....step by step....celebrated and supported by all of existence.....humming this song.....
