With Winter fast approaching and the likelihood of those stomach flus coming home from school or daycare on the rise, here are some simple tips to help manage these from home.
· Prevent Dehydration by ensuring healthy intake of water, coconut water, Bone Broth and cooled chamomile tea (keep them interested by using different bottles or cups)
· Make Flavoured Icy poles using hydrating combination of cococnut water & watermelon, Coconut water and a squeeze of orange juice
· Give your child a good probiotic to help normalise the microbiome and increase general health and wellbein
If your child can’t eat, that’s okay! Focus on getting fluids and nutrients into their system with nourishing
· Vegetable soups,
· Bone broths,
· Stewed apples,
· Slow-cooked or mashed root vegetables
