Rufus’s sound healing journey began accidently and synchronistically whilst doing a fund raiser for the Hamlin Fistula Foundation in Africa, since then he has facilitated sound healing journeys for 1000’s of people over the last 9 years. Played at Brisbane Spirit Festival and 2018 Commonwealth games opening Ceremony along with many other players from around the country, he’s facilitated groups at Uluru Cosmic Consciousness Conference and played for several charity events. He has collaborated to create a sound healing album ‘Soul Constellation’ by Conscious Vibes. He has travelled to the origins of the ‘Yidaki’ (didgeridoo) North East Arnhem land to sit with the Elders on country to listen, learn and understand, and seeks blessings from First Nations people on lands he holds space, paying deep respects. He embodies the teaching of ‘Wirritjin’ an ancient prophecy that one day, a light skin, a white man, would come to this continent and there would be great pain and suffering, but over time, that pain and suffering would reach a point where the black and white would stand together and build a prosperous future together – The time is now – one mob dreaming.
