Years of training and experience allow a doctor to spot skin cancers when they are small and unnoticed by a patient. 🔍 👨‍⚕️ When a patient comes in with a large, obvious cancer, you need to go hunting for smaller ones. The two cancers shown here are basal cell carcinomas and were found and excised by Dr John O’Bryen.

Sometimes my patients delay having their skin cancer seen to because they thought it was a mosquito or insect bite! 🦟 A lump or sore, that has not gone after 3-4 weeks , should be looked at. 🔍
