💫 Introducing Dr Andrew Hallier 💫

Dr. Hallier was born in South Africa but spent most of his formative years in New Zealand. He eventually made his way to the Gold Coast, where he completed his medical education.
After completing further training across New South Wales and Queensland, Dr. Hallier has recently moved to Sunshine Coast, where he hopes to settle down for good.

On days off he can be found exploring the region's beautiful beaches and national parks. Recently, he has developed a love for scuba diving, relishing the opportunity to explore the underwater world.
One day he hopes to obtain a private pilot's license. On a quieter day at home, he enjoys boardgames and videogames with friends.

As a general practitioner, Dr. Hallier is passionate about all aspects of healthcare but places a particular emphasis on preventive medicine.
He is dedicated to working collaboratively with his patients to achieve their optimal health outcomes.

A small Discount Fee is payable by all valid concession card holders. Sippy Downs Family Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic and hard working candidate to join its front desk team.

Key responsibilities include:

- Appointment book management, including scheduling of appointments, arrival of patients and billing of consultations
- Correspondence management, incoming and outgoing
- General administrative roles including but not limited to scanning, patient enquiries, stock control
- Working as part of an experienced reception team in a friendly environment.
- Good computer skills with knowledge of programs including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new programs such as Best Practice.

Essential criteria:

- General Practice experience is essential and preferably with experience using Best Practice
- Energetic and motivated to work
- Strong customer relationship skills due to high level of customer interaction in role.
- Friendly, empathetic, mature and courteous nature
- Reliable, punctual and well presented professionally
- Professional work ethic with a solution-oriented and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and aptitude to develop into and beyond current role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to prioritise, organised and multi-task
- Work effectively in a team and individually
- Flexibility with working hours to cover holiday leave and sick leave and must be available to work both late shifts and weekends.

Pay will be as per Fairworks Award.

✨Introducing Our New Psychologist Lee Baker✨

Lee Baker is a caring and empathetic psychologist who is local to the Sunshine Coast. Lee is committed to support clients to flourish and obtain their full potential.

Lee has specialist training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Informed Care, and First Nations Mental Health. Lee has treating interests in Mood Disorders, Trauma and PTSD, Relationship and Conflict Resolution, Life Challenges, Grief, and Loss, Body Image and Weight Management, Autism and ADHD (Adult), Addiction and Substance Misuse.

Lee has extensive life experience living and working overseas from an early age until returning to Australia in 2008. Lee has professional experience of working with communities and individuals to overcome adversity. Lee's life journey has provided him with opportunity to work with individuals and societies suffering from Australia's bushfires, victims of domestic violence and trauma, and individuals faced with perceived insurmountable life challenges. Lee's professional appointments has seen him lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver therapeutic outcomes to high-risk individuals within restricted environments, develop and provide training to corrective services personal, and support isolated individuals to overcome adversity.
