                                            Intention over Expectation 🌱🌳✨️
I find that if I have an Expectation of how the day will look and the timing of things, then I am often in resistance to what actually shows up.
Feelings of frustration, disappointment, guilt and shame can arise. 
However when I choose a word as my Intention for how I want to FEEL and BE for the day, I am a lot more accepting of how my day flows with life's challenges and changes. 
It takes practice and awareness. 
So when I feel things aren't feeling calm within my body and I feel overwhelmed, angry or just forcing things that aren't happening... I am able to:
🌿Take a breath
🌿Check in with the mindset that have lead to these emotions
🌿Feel what I need to feel and gain the wisdom that is there, within my belief systems.
🌿Discern what is helpful, true and kind and what is not
🌿And then I realign my thoughts with my intention. 
🌿I carry out my actions, moving in a way that embodies the word I've chosen for the day. 
By resetting in this way, I have found I am more at peace in mind, body and soul. 
I have actually found, because I have more clarity, I am then more productive than when I'm trying to make it happen. 
It may take longer, but it gets done and it actually takes less energy in the long run, because of the essence of how I go about doing it.
I have found visual reminder, like writing on the fridge or mirror, is also super helpful to bring me back to my chosen word 💓🌟💓🌟
