Our Story
Co-founded by Sunshine Coast Local sisters Linda Summerton & Janet Gibbins in 2003, ACA delivers a wide range of in home support services including personal, domestic, transport & community access supports to clients ranging from the very young, through to the elderly & frail including those with special / high care support needs.
Now servicing from Brisbane, Pine Rivers, Redcliffe, Caboolture, Sunshine Coast north to Noosa & Hinterland areas our hand picked team of staff have provided over 400 000 thousand hours of service hours in the last 14 years!
We employ cutting edge technology that monitors our workers start & finish times, & also enables them to record progress notes via a secure app which record directly back to our coordinators, who manage and regularly monitor every part of your loved ones support. Every visit includes tasks that the worker can have the client can sign off on once completed.
Advanced Care are committed to helping our staff continuously develop and improve their skills and knowledge in all aspects of community care. This ensures that the staff providing your care have the knowledge to provide your service in the best manner possible. Our staff complete online training on a monthly basis, and are required to reach a certain standard in this training to be deemed as competent. Advanced Care can also develop individualised training modules that walk an employee through how to do a client’s routine – this is particularly of value if a client has complex transfers or care needs.
