Twaddles & Pockets are volunteers who provide Quality Clown Entertainment spreading joy and laughter for residents in Aged Care Facilities as well as any of your special fundraising events. Pockets and Twaddles have been clowning around together since July 2007 when they were involved with a Sunshine Coast Clown Group in Queensland, Australia. For the first couple of years they, together, took part in more than four visits a month to patients in hospitals and residents in Aged Care Facilities. During this time a wonderful, special friendship and mutual appreciation of each other’s clowning skills and commitment developed. In 2010, in an attempt to become more aware of the complexities involved in the Art of Clowning, they both attended, and graduated from, the Red Skelton Clown School which was conducted at the University of Vincennes in Indiana USA. In 2013 they returned to the Red Skelton Festival in Vincennes, Indiana where they were invited to teach the junior clown students at the Red Skelton Junior Joey (clown) School. They each have constantly continued to learn as much as they could about the art of clowning, and to develop their clowning skills. In July 2014 Twaddles became the International Region Vice-President of Clowns of America International. The first Australian to serve on the Board of Directors of COAI. And Pockets was appointed an Ambassador to COAI. They both attended the Clowns Of America International Clown Convention in Erie, Pennsylvania USA in April 2015, and then the COAI Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada USA in April 2016. In February 2017 they decided to embark on a new direction and, with the occasional participation of a few special friends have commenced performing as "Pockets, Twaddles & Co." Or “Twaddles, Pockets & Co.”
