Are you the sort of person at the gym who LOVES high intensity workouts? This can be fun and hugely fat burning. ๐ฅต ๐ฅ
BUT, if your body isnโt feeling safe and therefore, your nervous system isnโt regulated, high intensity workouts might be hindering your nervous system.
A dysregulated nervous system responds well to safety - slow, deliberate, careful movement and flow. High intensity can definitely still happen, but maybe itโs a gradual process to get there, when your body is feeling safe to do so! ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ
If you overcommit, your body make react and send signals of danger. โ๏ธ
Have you operated outside of your capacity with exercise before? I certainly have in the past and now, I am sure to be gentle and listen to where my body is at. ๐
