If you still feel exhausted after a quiet weekend, it’s easy to assume something is wrong with you.

But very often, it’s not about willpower, motivation, or “doing rest better.” It’s about a nervous system that hasn’t had the chance to truly switch off for a long time.

When the body stays in a state of alert, even lying down doesn’t feel restorative.

Real rest begins when the nervous system feels safe enough to soften.

And yes — this can change.
Gently. Safely. At your pace.

If this resonates and you’re curious about what that kind of support could look like for you, you’re welcome to send me a message.

If hypnotherapy makes you think of stage shows, you're not alone.

But what I'm guiding at Reset & Rise is a nervous system reset: calm, grounded and genuinely practical.

What it's like:
You're aware the whole time
You can't be made to do anything
Your nervous system finally gets a break
Moat people feel lighter, calmer and clearer

It's a small group on purpose, so it feels safe and personal

If you're thinking "I need something to shift", then this is a great place to start.

Sometimes the body isn’t breaking down.

It’s responding to years of holding things together.
Tension, fatigue, anxiety, cravings, these aren’t character flaws or failures of discipline.

They’re signs a nervous system has been on high alert for too long.

Nothing needs fixing. Something needs listening to.

🌀 Gentle question to sit with:
What has your body been trying to tell you lately?

“I thought I’d be more organised by now.”
“I had such good intentions.”
“I don’t know why it’s already slipping.”

Here’s the part that matters:
this isn’t a failure, it’s early awareness.

Often women don’t actually start the year rested.
They start it already depleted.
When your nervous system is still running on high alert, clarity drops, decision-making feels harder,
and even small changes feel effortful.

This isn’t about motivation.
It’s about calming the system early,
so the rest of the year doesn’t feel like a constant push.

That’s exactly why we created Reset & Rise.
✨ A pause before the pressure
✨ A reset before the year runs away
✨ Tools that help your body settle first

If you’ve ever thought “Why can’t I just get on with it?”, please hear this 💛

When stress becomes chronic, your body goes into protection mode:

Less energy. Less focus. Less patience.

But, you don’t need more discipline.

You need support, gentleness, and a nervous system that feels safe again.

What would change if you stopped fighting your body and started listening to it?

“That quiet self-criticism isn’t who you are.”

This is something I say often in sessions — because it matters.

That inner critic didn’t come from nowhere.
It formed when you were trying to make sense of the world the best way you could.

You don’t need fixing.

You need compassion, understanding, and support that works with your nervous system — not against it.

If this resonates, dm me to book in for an exploration session.

Hollywood has done hypnotherapy no favours.

In real life, most people are surprised by how normal it feels and how powerful that normality actually is.

When the nervous system feels safe:
- patterns soften,
- habits shift,
- and clarity returns.

That’s not magic. That’s biology.🧠

Swipe, save, and share with someone who’s always been curious but unsure.

There’s a lot of misinformation out there about hypnotherapy.

No swinging watches.
No loss of control.
No doing anything you don’t want to do.

Hypnotherapy is simply a focused, relaxed state - similar to when you’re daydreaming or completely absorbed in a book - where your nervous system finally gets a break.

And in my experience, most people don’t act strangely at all…

They just feel calmer, clearer, and more like themselves again.

If this myth has ever stopped you from exploring hypnotherapy, you’re not alone. 😄

💬 Tell me — what’s the weirdest thing you’ve heard about hypnosis?

The start of a new year doesn’t mean starting over.

It can mean starting softer.
No pressure.
No reinvention.

Just choosing ease, support and a kinder way forward.

What would you like less of this year? 🌿

“What’s wrong with this photo?”

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Between Christmas and New Year, doing nothing is often exactly what the nervous system needs.

Staying in bed.
Reading a book.
Letting the day unfold slowly (or not at all).

This in-between time isn’t meant to be productive. It’s a natural pause, a chance for your body and mind to exhale after a full year of doing, giving, managing and holding it all together.

Rest isn’t laziness.
Slowness isn’t failure.
And you don’t need to “earn” this downtime.

If your nervous system has been running on high alert, this is how recalibration begins: safety, softness, simplicity.

If today looks like this…you’re not falling behind. You’re listening.

If you’re craving more ease and less pressure going into the new year, I’m here.

24/12/2025

Wishing you a peaceful Christmas.

If today it happy, enjoy it.
If today is gentle, enjoy it.
If today is hard, you’re not alone in that either.
Nothing needs to change right now.
Nothing needs to be solved.

What would it be like to let today be exactly what it is?

Lots of love e to you♥️
